Fortnite season X map changes. Here are all the Fornite Season X map changes that have taken place since the start of season X/10.

The video trailer for season X got released a day earlier than expected. This is because fortnite Brazil accidentally tweeted the video trailer instead of a teaser. In the trailer, we saw Jonesy travel through the Zero Point. There were references to many POIs in the trailer video. But it was never made clear if the POIs will stay or be removed from the game.

The snow and desert biome seems not to have been removed and some POIs have returned. Here are all the map changes that have been made at the start of season X. Let us know if we left out any in the comment section.

What are the Fortnite Season X Map Changes

LOOT LAKE

The Orb(Zero Point) is still located at look lake. But it also seems to be frozen. At the point of the explosion, we could clearly see objects frozen in the air. Players can be teleported by the sky by moving into the Orb, which acts as a large rift. Also, it is good to know that rifts have been added in different areas of the map.

DUSTY DEPOT

Dusty Depot has returned. It came back in the same exact location it was before it was hit by the meteor turning it into Dusty Divot. The buildings are also not in the same order as there were original.

THE METEOR

In the trailer of season X, we saw the meteor frozen in the air before hitting Dusty Depot. It looks like it is still stuck in that same position. Other small rocks are visible and seen coming off the meteor. Also, you can fly right through the smoke behind the meteor. Furthermore, you can even land on the meteor and there are floor loots and chest spawns.

The Meteor brought the visitor in its capsule to the island. If you succeed to land on the meteor, you will be able to clearly see the capsule which is already opened. This means the visitor is on the island somewhere and may show up on loading screens.

THE OLD FACTORIES

This was a popular landing spot even though it was never named a POI. It got removed in past updates but has made a return and can be found southeast of Dusty Depot. Three factories can be found in this location.

THE MONSTER’S SKELETON

The monster’s skeleton which also survived can be found northwest of salty springs. More trees have been added around the skeleton and also there is a pinky-reddish color that can be seen around the skeleton. This POI even though not named on the map can easily be spotted due to its distinct color.

HINTS OLD POIs MAY BE RETURNING

Dusty Depot has returned. What does this mean for other POIs? There seem to be objects from different POIs in different locations of the map which is a hint that they may be returning. The patch notes stated that “Locations once thought to be lost are beginning to appear, but they aren’t the same as they once were…” This means old POIs will be returning but not exactly how they used to be.

One point of reference is at Polar Peak where a toilet can be seen on top of one of the castles. Also, there is a mini toilet in fronts with pipes on the side which relates to Flush Factory.

At the east of Sunny Steps the Risky Reels theatre sign and screen was also spotted.

Moisty Mires might also be making a return as the signs for Paradise Palms is different as can be seen below.

A building which looks to have tree was spotted southeast of Paradise Palms. These are similar to the ones in Moisty Mires. This is also another part of the fortnite season X map changes

Also, another POI is referenced at Lazy Lagoon. You can see a shack with a sign on top. This sign can be found at Lazy Links. Inside, is found a golfing gear which also relates to Lazy Links. This means this POI may be seen in the upcoming weeks.

MORE CHANGES

The structure of Fatal Fields has further been built. You can now harvest more wood by visiting this structure Also, another chest spawn has been added to the top of this building. This may become Fortnite‘s tallest structure.

The changing structure which is found at the town east of Polar Peak has now changed to being a chair again. In the last season, it changed to what looked like a metal spaceship. This is also another part of the fortnite season X map changes.

Also, a new gnome shed appeared on the mountain west of Pleasant Park. Four new gnomes can be seen on top.

Upon entering the gnome shed, you will find a giant gnome and other smaller ones. You will also find a chest spawn here.

The car statue which can be found east of Mega Mall was also updated. The colors have been changed to look like the Mecha Robot. The Robot lost its arm to the monster in the final showdown. That is why you can see the car statue having only one arm. This is also another part of the fortnite season X map changes.

One of the most popular spots to land is the town found southeast of Paradise Palms and east of Lucky Landing. One of the houses at this location has been filled with TVs. Breaking these TVs will give you wood.

The Stone Head that was added at the start of season 5 has also been added to Lazy Lagoon. This is also another part of the fortnite season X map changes.

UPDATED: When going through the map we couldn’t find the Stone Family, but on looking again we rather found a Stone Dog. Since more POIs are making a return to the map, we could eventually see the stone family added as well. We are going to be keeping you updated as the map changes.
